Louis Tomlinson Releases his Incredible New Single 'Miss You'

If you thought the live version of Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Miss You’ was incredible, well…you were correct. When he debuted the song live for the first time, fans went crazy for it.

Now, the single has been released and we have to say, it’s even more amazing than we expected. First, it’s relatable. If you’ve never let go of that one good person, take a hint from Louis’ song and don’t do it. However, if you’re like us and you’ve let them slip through your fingers, this is the sort of song that you’ll sing loud when you’re out with your own friends hanging out somewhere between 2 and 5 pints.

Just one more pint or five
Does it even matter anyway?

We’re dancing on tables
‘Til I’m off my face
With all of my people
And it couldn’t get better they say

We’re singing ‘til last call
And it’s all out of tune
Should be laughing, but there’s something wrong
And it hits you when the lights go on
Shit, maybe I miss you

It’s got an anthem feel to it. It’s the kind of song you know someone will ask for before the lights come on and suddenly, the entire bar will be singing the same song for the same reasons. Maybe you’ll be there at the same time as the one that got away, maybe you’ll be singing it at the top of your lungs and hoping they’re singing it too.

Now I’m asking my friends if I should say “I’m sorry”
They say “Lad, give it time, there’s no need to worry”
And we can’t even be on the phone now
And I can’t even be with you alone now

Oh how, shit changes
We were in love
Now, we’re strangers
When I feel it coming up I just throw that shit away
Get another two shots and it doesn’t matter anyway

Louis’ confidence has been building with each studio session, each performance, and each newly released song. However, there’s something that really hits with this one. His voice is stunning, he hits every note perfectly and he’s really coming into his own. For a guy who wasn’t sure he’d even put out a solo album during One Direction’s break – he’s building his status as a solo artist now and leaving his mark on the music industry in his own way.

Miss You is the song we needed without realizing it and it’s solidified that when Louis does release his solo album, it’ll be one we won’t be able to (nor want to) stop listening to.
